Bart e Lisa começam a ajudar nas tarefas do lar e Hommer e Marge
decidem que é a hora de recompensá-los, em "A Esposa Gourmet", episódio
de Os Simpsons que a Rede Globo exibe na madrugada deste sábado, dia 3, para domingo.
Marge e Hommer resolvem recompensar Bart e Lisa com bolinhas de gude
cada vez que eles cumprirem uma tarefa doméstica. Quando a jarra de
bolinhas dos garotos fica cheia, Hommer anuncia que eles ganharam o
Sábado Surpresa com o Papai e os leva para uma incrivel convenção de
video games, onde os três se divertem pra valer.
Marge fica enciumada e confessa ao marido que se sentiu excluída de
toda a diversão. Hommer então sugere que ela leve as crianças para um
Sábado Surpresa com a Mamãe. Marge decide ir com os filhos para uma
competição de esportes radicais, porém, seu plano dá errado e eles vão
parar em uma convenção de Natal comandada por Ned Flanders e pelo
Reverendo Lovejoy. Para piorar o dia, o carro deles ainda quebra no
caminho de volta para casa.
Enquanto os três esperam pelo reboque, eles decidem experimentar a
exótica gastronomia do lugar e com isso têm a ideia de escrever um blog
sobre comida. Agora será a vez do Hommer se sentir excluído. Como será
